At Mungalabs, we believe that education should be accessible and private. This Privacy Policy applies to the Accountryx application, an educational platform designed to help users organize and track their learning journey through curated video content.

1. Information We Collect & Use

• YouTube API Data: Accountryx accesses YouTube API Services to retrieve public educational data, including video titles, thumbnails, channel information, and view counts. This API Data is used exclusively to display and organize video content for the user. We do not collect personally identifiable information from your YouTube account.
• Learning Progress & Storage: To provide core app features, we store certain API Data (such as the titles and IDs of your Saved Videos and Watched Lessons) locally on your device using Android DataStore. This information, along with your Quiz Results, Learning Time, and Study Notes, remains 100% local and is not transmitted to our servers.
• Device Interaction: The app and its integrated third-party services may access or collect information indirectly from your device, including unique identifiers and usage patterns, to provide essential app functionality.
• Lesson Sharing: When you use the "Share" feature, the app generates a standard Android sharing intent. No data regarding your contacts or shared content is collected or stored by Mungalabs.
• Device and Usage Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics to collect basic analytics such as app version and anonymized crash reports to improve the stability and performance of the application.

2. YouTube API Services Compliance

Our app utilizes YouTube API Services. By using Accountryx, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Data Refresh: All YouTube API Data stored locally on the device is automatically refreshed every 7 days and is never stored for longer than 30 calendar days to ensure accuracy and compliance with YouTube policies.

User Control: We do not access your private YouTube account information. Users can revoke the App’s access to their data via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

3. Local Data Storage & User Control

Your privacy is our priority. Accountryx is designed so that your Learning History, Progress Stats, and Personalized Notes remain on your own device. We do not have access to your specific learning habits or history.

Data Control: You can clear your learning progress at any time by clearing the application cache/data in your Android system settings or by deleting the app.

4. Advertising & Third-Party Technology

Accountryx and our third-party partners (Google AdMob, Firebase, and YouTube Player SDK) may store, access, or collect information directly or indirectly from your device. This may include placing, accessing, or recognizing cookies, unique device identifiers, or similar technology on your device or browser for the purposes of serving advertisements, providing video playback, and monitoring app health.

• Google AdMob: Uses the device Advertising ID to display family-friendly advertisements. You can reset or manage this ID in your Android device settings.
• Firebase: Used for real-time app health monitoring and performance improvements.
• YouTube Player SDK: Used to provide the integrated video playback experience within the app.

5. Children’s Privacy

Accountryx is an educational tool suitable for learners of various ages.

• We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
• All learning data is stored locally on the device, ensuring the highest level of privacy for younger users.
• Advertisements are configured to follow "Family-Friendly" and educational guidelines.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect any data processed by the app. Since Accountryx does not require a user account or cloud login, your personal identity remains anonymous to us.
